The upper Mississippi River is home to over 100 fish species. Popular fish include Walleye, Sauger, Catfish, large and small mouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, and Northern Pike
Several public beaches are located on both sides of Lake Pepin.
The Lake Pepin area offers a dozen golf courses, many with fabulous views of the Mississippi River bluffs
The Great River Road is a popular destination for bicyclists.

Generally, July is the most consistent month for picking. It is suggested that one calls ahead to find out what is ripe. More than just blueberries! The farm is so beautiful with perennials flowers everywhere. When you arrive, the owners will equip you with everything you'll need and then direct you to eat your way down the blueberry patch, so that you can try different varieties, and pick your way back- yum!
The Lake Pepin area is indigenous to hundreds of bird species, with several birds of prey being ultra common. Visit the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN or simply watch the many Gold and Bald Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, etc. from your porch.
The "Alphabet" Roads provide some of the best twisties in the area, while the Great River Road also provides ample twists and turns with fantastic views of the lake. There are several "Biker" bars throughout the area to meet and greet fellow bikers. The area is also famous for Spring and Fall Flood runs.
